Section 4.5 - Disclosure of Personal Information Outside Québec
The personal information we collect may be hosted on secure servers that may be located outside Québec, including elsewhere in Canada, in the United States and in Europe. Section 5 - Information Collected Automatically
This section provides you with information about the collection, use and disclosure of information that is automatically collected by tracking technologies when you access our Site, including through the use of cookies, log files, web beacons, tags or pixels. The tracking technologies used by our Site collect general information such as how our customers access and use the Site.

Section 5.2.1 - Cookie Retention Period
The retention period of a cookie on your computer or mobile device depends on the nature of the cookie, namely whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing, and persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and expire between 30 minutes and two years from the date they are downloaded to your device.
Section 5.2.2 - Do Not Track
Please note that due to the industry’s lack of a consistent understanding of how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not change our data collection and use practices when we detect such a signal from your browser.
Section 5.3 - Web Beacons
We use web beacons (transparent graphic images placed on a web page or in an email) that indicate that a page or email has been viewed, or that request your browser to obtain certain content from another server. These beacons collect statistics on the use of our site and our web services, allowing us, in particular, to assess the success of our newsletter and our advertisements and communications.
Section 5.4 - Google Web Analytics Products
As mentioned, we use certain Google products, including Google Analytics, as web analytics tools. 6.1 Consent to Receive Communications
By submitting your personal information through our registration forms, creating an account, or subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive by email or by mail marketing communications from ATTITUDE, including newsletters, promotional offers, tips, updates on our sustainable approach, as well as information about our products and services.
Please note that certain operational messages (for example, order confirmations, shipping updates, service notifications, etc.) are considered essential to the transaction and are not subject to this consent to receive marketing electronic communications.
6.2 Newsletter
Our newsletter is sent only to customers or users who have subscribed to receive it by email, and may include: trends, new products, promotions, environmental initiatives, and personalized recommendations.
6.3. Withdrawal of Consent

Accordingly, ATTITUDE limits access to your personal information to employees who need such access to perform their duties. Records containing personal information in paper form are kept in a secure environment with restricted access. Personal information in electronic form is protected by technical and technological means, such as passwords, firewalls, antivirus software and other protective software, as well as through the encryption of certain data, thereby preventing loss, theft, unwanted intrusions, misuse, unauthorized modifications and malicious attacks. ATTITUDE ensures that its servers are kept in a secure environment, and its IT infrastructure is managed by specialists who oversee data protection. Finally, all ATTITUDE employees with access to personal information are trained and made aware of the importance of protecting the confidentiality of personal information.
With respect to credit card transactions, ATTITUDE complies with the best industry standards to ensure the protection of personal information related to credit cards.
ATTITUDE understands the importance of protecting personal information and uses Internet security measures to protect information collected via the Internet. However, despite all the precautions and measures put in place by ATTITUDE to protect your personal information, the risks associated with security and confidentiality cannot be eliminated due to the nature of the Web and related technologies. Accordingly, ATTITUDE makes no representation or warranty as to the absolute security of personal information provided to it over the Internet. In light of the foregoing, customers and users acknowledge that they provide their personal information to ATTITUDE with full knowledge of these risks. If you have reason to believe that personal information has been compromised, please contact us using the contact information indicated in Section “12 – Questions, Complaints and Contact Information”.
Section 8 – Retention of Your Personal Information
We will retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. After this period, your personal information will be securely destroyed or anonymized.
Section 9 –Access to Your Personal Information

ATTITUDE will review the written request and undertakes to respond diligently within 30 days of receipt. No fees are charged by ATTITUDE for processing such a request. However, reasonable fees may be charged for transcribing, reproducing or transmitting the requested personal information. We will inform you of the approximate amount payable before proceeding with the transcription, reproduction or transmission of such information.
ATTITUDE reserves the right to refuse any request in circumstances where the law permits. In such a case, the refusal will be duly justified within the time limit for responding to the request, and you will be informed of the remedies available to you under the law.
